We are looking for a Senior full-stack PHP Developer to join our united, dedicated, and enthusiastic team at LINK Mobility, Europes leading provider of mobile messaging.

Position Overview

As a full-stack Senior PHP developer, part of a cross-functional agile team, you will have a significant role in our growing Engineering department supporting the development of a new communication platform.

In close cooperation with other developers and Product Owners, you will work throughout the full software development life cycle - design, development, coding, customization, configuration, testing, and deployment in support of enterprise packaged solutions.

YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use based upon UI/UX wireframes
• Write clean, scalable modules and maintain unit and functional tests using PHP and Javascript
• Collaborate with team to produce software design and architecture
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  
  

WE HOPE YOU HAVE

• PHP Proficiency - Extensive experience with PHP (versions 7.x and 8.x) and CodeIgniter 4 / Laravel framework
• Experience in JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience in HTML and CSS
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Experience with design patterns in software development
• Strong skills in using relational and non-relational databases (mysql, elasticsearch).
• Proficiency in Git, including branching and merging strategies.
• BS/MS degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent with programming experience
• Fluency in English

• Experience with Bootstrap / Responsive design
• Experience building JavaScript/CSS Frameworks or shared component libraries used in large scale production websites
• Experience in REST software architecture style
• Microservices architecture
• Experience with SaaS
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
